The project is codenamed Pathfinder and will be significantly different from other games of a similar genre
Apparently, Ubisoft doesn’t give up trying to succeed with battle royales and is now working on a new project codenamed Pathfinder.
It’s a third-person shooter in which teams of four players are dropped onto a map and must fight each other and AI-controlled opponents in an attempt to win – the closer you get to the centre of the map, the more serious the silicon resistance.
The maps will also feature gates, some of which can be destroyed while others remain impregnable, changing from match to match. The game will also feature heroes, each with their own unique abilities and skills.
Some found the news entertaining, as Ubisoft already has a battle royal called Hyper Scape, which the publisher is set to close on 28 April.
